Our website collects standard analytics data including pages visited, time on site, and referral source. Our desktop application does not collect usage data — it runs entirely on your local machine.
License Verification
The desktop application contacts our server to verify your license status. This transmits your email address and a machine identifier. No experimental data, project files, or scientific results are transmitted.
Payment Information
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details — Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.
How We Use Your Information

- Desktop application data is stored locally on your computer and is never uploaded to our servers

Your Data on the Desktop Application
The Arvochem desktop application is designed with data privacy as a core principle:
- All project files (.cpsp), experimental data, and analysis results are stored locally on your machine
- No scientific data is transmitted to our servers or any third party
- The only network communication is license verification (email + machine ID)
- You maintain full ownership and control of your data at all times
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Vercel — website hosting
- Neon — database for account management
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email delivery
Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing their handling of data.
Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days.
